Two of New Zealand’s most loved small-batch producers, Libertine Blends organic tea and Wellington’s Baron Hasselhoff’s craft chocolate, have come together to create a new tasting set.
Celebrating the quiet magic that happens when tea and chocolate meet, just in time for Easter, the Libertine Blends x Baron Hasselhoff Tea & Chocolate Tasting Gift Box brings together eight thoughtful pairings, curated by chocolate expert and tea loverLuke Owen Smith.
Each combination has been carefully chosen to highlight delicate flavours and aromas, from rose tea with coconut and hibiscus milk chocolate, to Cacao Chai with spiced molé dark chocolate.
“This tasting set is about slowing down and connecting with flavour,” said Libertine Blends owner Nicola Worthington.
“There’s no right or wrong way to enjoy it, just sip, savour, and let your senses lead the way.”
Baron Hasselhoff’s founder Clayton McErlane, added that tea and chocolate share a surprising amount in common and are a dream to pair. This collaboration lets people experience their relationship in a really joyful way.
To celebrate this launch, a Tea & Chocolate Tasting event is being held on Thursday, the 26th of March at Zephyr Cafe (Tākina) in Wellington. The Tea & Chocolate Tasting Gift Box is available to purchase now, exclusively online.
