Mission Impossible is back, but not for long.
Producers of the new instalment of the franchise, ‘Dead Reckoning Part One’ have released the upcoming film’s teaser poster, which shows a motorbike and rider flung into mid-air in a mountain range. The rider is suspected to be Tom Cruise, the star of all Mission Impossible films to date.
The sad news for fans is that this will be the second to last film in the franchise, which began in 1996. The second part of ‘Dead Reckoning’ was filmed at the same time as part one, and will be released next year.
Tom Cruise is a producer this time around, with Christopher Quinn serving as director and writer of the film. The movie series has been based on the television series created by Bruce Geller, and co-stars Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, and Rebecca Ferguson.
‘Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One’ is to be released only in theatres on July 13th.
