According to Astrologer and co-founder of Starcrossed, Neda Farr, Mercury retrograde gets all the headlines because it’s easy to notice. Still, other astrological events have a much bigger impact on people’s lives.
Mercury retrograde might make you miss a flight or rethink a conversation, but Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, Mars, and the eclipses were often the transits that determined where you live, who you love, and what your life looks like years down the road.
Jupiter only changes signs about once a year, and it completely shifts where opportunities, growth, and luck are showing up. Eclipses are some of the most life-changing events in astrology because they accelerate timelines.
Venus tells us how relationships evolve, what we’re attracted to, and our values, while Mars shows action, pursuit, and conflict. When those two planets make significant aspects, there can be huge shifts in dating, relationships, and chemistry.
Finally, Saturn is one of the most misunderstood planets in astrology. People associate Saturn with restrictions and harsh life lessons, but Neda saw it as the planet of long-term success.

One of the biggest misconceptions about astrology that Neda mentioned most people had was that it’s something you simply read, when it is actually something you work with.
She said that every transit brings a different type of energy, and if you understand what that energy is encouraging, you can use it extremely intentionally. This was her reasoning for creating Rituals on the Starcrossed app.

Neda said that the level of real personalisation is what has made astrology resonate so strongly today, and people want to understand themselves on a much deeper level.
