Picture This

Inspired by the Australian Amazon Original Five Blind Dates, Picture This is a modern-day rom-com vibe, telling a tale about the universal language of love that’s fresh, fun, and culturally authentic.

Pia is a fiercely independent, career-focused British-Indian artist who runs a photography studio in East London with her best friend, Jay. She struggles to stay afloat.

Running out of time to settle past due bills, with her anxiety rising, Pia is thrust into a bevy of social exposure for her sister Sonal’s upcoming wedding, which her ex, Charlie, will also be attending.

Meanwhile, while navigating her mother’s constant pressure to find a partner, Pia discovers a twist: her mum has been hoarding a treasure trove of family jewellery that Pia can only access with an engagement ring on her finger.

With her life a chaotic, hidden mess and her future in question, there’s only one thing Pia’s sure about: she doesn’t want to get married. However, an eccentric spiritual guru predicts she will meet her “forever” love on one of the following five dates she goes on.

Resolute and reluctant Pia plunges on a series of increasingly disastrous blind meet-ups, sending her on a heartfelt and hilarious quest for true love, self-discovery, and second chances.

The movie stars Simone Ashley, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Sindhu Vee, Luke Fetherston, Nikesh Patel, Adil Ray, Anoushka Chadha, Eben Figueiredo, Kulvinder Ghir, Asim Chaudhry, and Phil Dunster.

Picture This is a witty, unconventional romantic comedy about cultural and familial expectations, laughing through life’s awkward moments, and finding love in unexpected places amidst unknown second chances.

It will be premiering exclusively on Prime Video on the 6th of March, 2025.
