The story is ridiculous yet absolutely on the money for what I expect a two-star Rom-Com to be. I absolutely love dumpster fires, and I mean that in the best possible way, and I squealed throughout the entire film. I adore any J Lo film and any romantic comedy with a terrible plot is a top tier film for me.
This film offers a silly series of events and for some unknown reason, IT WORKS. It is a perfectly balanced and enjoyable movie. I always love to rate films on simply ‘would I watch this again?’ and the answer is yes. One hundred times, yes. For all the hopeless romantics out there, pick this film for Valentines. Maybe it’s because I’m married to a P.E teacher, but it just warmed my little heart.
