Ski season is coming to a close and Coronet Peak is sending it out in style. Iconic Kiwi band Salmonella Dub Sound System is performing at the Queenstown skifield alongside King Kapisi and Che Fu (performing as Hedlok) on the 8th of September.

Salmonella Dub last played Coronet Peak ten years ago, and with two legends of New Zealand music joining them this promises to be one of Queenstown’s biggest parties of the year – no small feat for a city built on tourism.

Coronet Peak Ski Area Manager Nigel Kerr encouraged attendees to try night skiing on Coronet peak as it’s a one-of-a-kind winter experience. “It brings together the best in bespoke activities, entertainment and epic sunset skiing,” he said of the Final Night Ski event.  “We’re delighted to host Salmonella Dub Sound System and go out with a bang”.

The gig is located at the Coronet Peak Base Building and goes from 4pm-9pm so that partygoers have the chance for one last night ski. Guests can buy a night ski pass for $62 – why not go for a quick lap between music sets?
