Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has launched the Bespoke AI Heat Pump Combo in New Zealand.
First introduced at IFA 2023 in Berlin, the all-in-one washer and dryer combo has redefined laundry experiences by combining a washer and a dryer into a single space-efficient appliance that finishes the wash and dry cycle in one queue.
The Bespoke AI Heat Pump Combo leverages advanced AI and a 7” display to provide an easy, entertaining laundry experience. It seamlessly integrates a washer and dryer into a single unit, performing as effectively as two machines using Samsung’s BubbleWash and Heatpump Drying Technology. It can provide an efficient and space-saving laundry solution.
Combining two machines into one eliminated the hassle of customers moving the laundry after washing. Users who wait for their laundry cycles to finish to move the laundry to the dryer to prevent odours immediately are allowed more flexible use of their time.
Users can also save valuable space, enabling them to use the freed-up space for their interior needs while enjoying the benefits of a washer and a dryer at the same time.
The Bespoke AI Heat Pump Combo also provides a large capacity of 18kg of washing and 10kg of drying, which makes better use of the advantages of an All-in-One design. The big drum is large enough to load even a king-sized comforter and many clothes into a single load.
A vital feature of the Bespoke AI Heat Pump Combo is the AI Wash & Dry system, which uses a range of sensors to optimise washing and drying for each load, freeing users from contemplating the optimal settings for each cycle.
Upon sensing the weight of the laundry, it accurately dispenses the right amount of water and detergent. It also detects the fabric, monitors the level of soiling during the cycle, and adjusts washing time and detergent use accordingly. After the wash cycle, the technology customises the drying process.
The Bespoke AI Heat Pump Combo’s intuitive 7” wide LCD is a central control hub for laundry and the entire home. With a wide display, it delivers substantial information about laundry, starting with course details, the remaining amount of detergent, and energy consumption.
The combo uses machine learning to remember user habits and recommend cycles based on periodic and seasonal needs when showing courses. When the course is finished, it provides an energy and water consumption report that can be viewed on the LCD or in the SmartThings App.
Users also have a clear view of the 3D Map View, which shows all connected appliances within the home and enables seamless monitoring and turning them on/off.
The Bespoke AI Heat Pump Combo will be available in New Zealand from the 23rd of September 2024.
