The Taylors St Andrews Shiraz is a rich, full-bodied wine that showcases the best of the Clare Valley terroir. At release, the wine boasts a concentrated ruby red colour with a dark purple hue. The nose is complex with concentrated aromas of violets, dark plum, and liquorice, with the added complexity of creamy American oak. The voluptuous and well-balanced palate has layers of flavour and excellent mid-palate expression. Fresh red berry fruits are complemented by mocha and vanilla spice, while the long, persistent finish leaves a lasting impression. The wine was fermented in headless American oak barrels and aged for 18 months, resulting in an elegant finish.
