The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare

Based on recently disclosed documents from the British War Department and drawn from actual events, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is a film for action and comedy lovers.

It recounts the establishment of the first special forces unit during WWII, initiated by UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill and a small team of military figures, including author Ian Fleming.

The top-secret combat group, made up of a diverse set of individuals, embarks on a bold mission against the Nazis using entirely unconventional and “ungentlemanly” tactics.

Their fearless approach ultimately altered the war’s course and laid the groundwork for the British SAS and modern Black Ops warfare.

Directed and co-written for the screen by Guy Ritchie (known for Sherlock Holmes, The Gentlemen, and Wrath of Man) and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (of Top Gun: Maverick, Pirates of the Caribbean, and National Treasure fame), The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare features a stellar cast.

The cast list includes Henry Cavill (Man of Steel, Mission: Impossible – Fallout), Eiza González (Baby Driver), Alan Ritchson (known for TV’s Reacher), Alex Pettyfer (In Time), Hero Fiennes Tiffin (from the After series), Babs Olusamokun (Dune), Henrique Zaga (Beyond the Universe), Til Schweiger (Inglourious Basterds), Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians), and Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride).

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is now on Prime Video.
