The official trailer for The Equalizer 3 has been released today. The film sees Denzel Washington reprise his role as Robert McCall. The film is exclusively in cinemas from August 31.
The final chapter of the film series follows McCall (Washington) after giving up his job as a government assassin. Struggling to reconcile his horrific actions of the past, McCall finds solstice in serving justice on behalf of the oppressed and settles in Southern Italy. When he discovers his new friends are under the control of local crime bosses and things turn deadly, McCall knows he has only one choice; to protect his friends by taking on the Mafia.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by Richard Wenk, the film also stars Dakota Fanning and David Denmark.
