Win Final Tickets To Support Auckland FC!

Auckland FC’s run to the A-League Grand Final in just their second season has captured the attention of the city.

And while the entire squad has played a role in the club’s incredible success, defender Francis de Vries has become a fan favourite throughout the journey.

This has led 2degrees to decide there was only one appropriate response: temporarily rebrand to ‘2deVries’ as they throw their support behind the team ahead of this weekend’s sold-out decider.

From Friday, the 22nd of May, the Queen Street and Onehunga 2degrees stores will temporarily become “2deVries”, featuring updated storefront signage and AFC-themed displays to celebrate one of the biggest sporting moments Auckland has seen in years.

To celebrate the occasion, ‘2deVries’ is also inviting Aucklanders down to its Queen Street store on Friday, from 10.00 am, where fans will have the chance to win six of the last remaining Grand Final tickets in the city.

Dave Pearce, General Manager of Marketing at 2degrees New Zealand, said the activation was about joining the excitement Auckland FC has created across the city this season.

At the same time, Auckland FC defender Francis de Vries admitted he initially thought the concept was a joke, but he added that the support around the club heading into the Grand Final has been incredible.
