Legendary Pictures’ Monsterverse is back with a new adventure that follows the epic battle between Godzilla and Kong.
Titled “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire”, the film features the two almighty titans facing off against a massive, unknown threat that challenges their existence and humanity.
The movie explores the histories and origins of these legendary beings, the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond, revealing the mythic battle that bound them to humankind forever.
Adam Wingard returns as the film’s director, which stars Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens, Kaylee Hottle, Alex Ferns, and Fala Chen. The film features the same team that worked on “Godzilla vs. Kong,”
“Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” is a Legendary Pictures Production and will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, except in Japan, where it will be distributed by Toho Co., Ltd., and in mainland China, where Legendary East will distribute it.
The film will be released in New Zealand on the 28th of March, 2024.
