Yoto is in its Bluey Era

Bluey is officially making the jump from the screen to Yoto, with the global kids’ favourite set to arrive on the audio platform for the first time this September.

Launching on 1 September 2026, Bluey: The Beach and Other Stories brings together eight familiar stories from the hit TV series in a 45-minute audio collection designed for children aged up to five.

The new Yoto Card features The Beach, The Pool, Charades, Daddy Robot, Baby Race, Barky Boats, Typewriter and Magic Xylophone, giving little Bluey fans another way to spend time with Bluey, Bingo, Mum and Dad without reaching for a screen.

Each story is narrated by acclaimed Australian actor Miranda Tapsell, whose voice has previously appeared in the Bluey series, with music from the original TV show woven throughout the collection. The result should feel reassuringly familiar to kids who already know the episodes inside out, while offering parents a screen-free option for car trips, quiet time or winding down before bed.

“We’re delighted to be working with Penguin Random House and BBC Studios to bring this collection of Bluey stories to Yoto. Adapted from the much-loved Bluey books, the single-voice audiobook gives children and families a new way to enjoy these stories together, wherever they are,” said Yoto Content Director Jess Tarrant.

The physical Bluey: The Beach and Other Stories Yoto Card will be priced at $19.99, while a $14.99 digital version can be linked to a blank Make Your Own card or played through the free Yoto app.

For families already firmly in their Bluey era, there is one important date to know: the waitlist is open now here.
