Burlesque superstar Dita Von Teese is to perform her all-new shoe Dita Von Teese: Glamonatrix in New Zealand later this year.
It will be the first time the performer has come to New Zealand, performing one show at The Civic in Auckland on December 13th, another at The Opera House in Wellington on December 15th, and a third and final show in Christchurch on December 18th.
Von Teese, who was married to singer Marilyn Manson from 2005 to 2007, has developed four brand new acts for the show, including a reinvention of the classic burlesque “surprise cake” routine, and an update of her famous martini glass routine performed with an ensemble cast.
The “Queen of Burlesque”, credited with repopularising the artform, will be joined on the tour by world-class burlesque performers, including Dirty Martini and Australian performer Zelia Rose.
Tickets will be available from this Friday the 28th of June at 2 PM at tegdainty.com
