Cancel your lunch plans. HelloFresh and The Lucky Taco are giving away 500 free tacos in Ponsonby tomorrow, and there is no catch beyond getting there before they run out.
On Saturday 19 September, The Lucky Taco truck will be parked up at 230 Ponsonby Road from 11am to 3pm, serving 500 free tacos to hungry Aucklanders. They are available while stocks last, so don’t leave it until the last minute.
The one-day pop-up celebrates a new limited-edition collaboration between HelloFresh and The Lucky Taco, the Auckland food truck founded by Sarah and Otis Frizzell.
Known for its Mexican-inspired street food, tacos and award-winning marinades, The Lucky Taco has become a familiar part of Auckland’s food scene, and now some of those flavours are making their way into HelloFresh boxes.
The collaboration has created two exclusive recipes for the HelloFresh menu: Mexican Beef & Pork Lucky Tacos and Cumin Chilli & Lime Chicken Tacos. Both will be available for a limited time, giving those who cannot make it to Ponsonby the chance to get a little Lucky Taco action at home.
But if you are in Auckland tomorrow, free tacos are free tacos.
HelloFresh x The Lucky Taco will be at 230 Ponsonby Road, Auckland, from 11am to 3pm on Saturday 19 September. The tacos are completely free, with 500 available while stocks last.
