Ahi Restaurant in Commercial Bay has launched its Level 3 takeaway offering, and this is one that is worth waiting for, with the Ahi at Home Garden Box featuring organic vegetables from the Ahi Garden alongside ingredients from a selection of Ahi’s favourite food suppliers, prepared by Ahi chefs for customers to assemble at home or outdoors with minimal effort.
The Ahi at Home Garden box includes organic, spray-free, fresh vegetables grown in the Ahi Kitchen Garden (formerly Tamsin’s Secret Garden, Patumahoe, South Auckland), Ahi Kawakawa sourdough, Te Mana lamb (week 1), Aosta’s famous tiramisu dessert and more (see menu below).
The Week 1 Menu has been designed for enjoyment indoors or outdoors, (Level 3 picnics included), with minimal preparation required. The menu will change weekly based on the seasonal vegetables on offer. Priced at $125.00 the menu is designed to feed 2-3 people.

Vegetarian option: Ahi garden lasagne, goat’s Gouda béchamel, ripe cropper tomato sugo.
