Après-Ski Delights At Mt. Difficulty

What better way to end an action-packed ski day than with a hearty meal and a glass of Pinot by the fire at Mt Difficulty.

Take advantage of the limited-time après-ski menu and indulge in a meal for two, consisting of slow-cooked lamb shoulder, roast thyme spuds, mint gel gravy, Yorkshire puddings and a glass each of Mt Difficulty Bannockburn Pinot Noir. With excellent dessert options like the bombe Alaska, dark chocolate fondant, vanilla panna cotta or poached fruit crumble to share, pair it with a glass each of Mt Difficulty Late Harvest Riesling 2016.

This Après-ski feast for two is available for just $150, from 4 pm to 6 pm on Wednesday to Sunday during winter.

Mt Difficulty celebrates its finest wines, opening something special from the cellar each Sunday. Each weekend a different tipple will be carefully selected by Winemaker Greg Lane and made available to enjoy by the glass, beginning with Mt Difficulty Single Vineyard Target Gully 2011. Library vintages from Mt Difficulty’s flagship Bannockburn Pinot Noir will also make a rare appearance by the glass.

Mulled Gin is the new winter warmer, and the Lighthouse Gin, in collaboration with Mt Difficulty, has come up with a barrel-aged mulled gin guaranteed to lift your spirits this chilly season. This warming spiced gin is mulled with cinnamon, star anise, apple juice, honey and chamomile, the perfect way to end a frosty day.
