ASICS SportStyle just announced the return of the GT-2160 sneaker. With vintage tech details from the previous decade, the sneaker pays homage to an archived design that debuted within the GT-2000 series during the 2010s. The reissue of the heritage model highlights the tech evolution that was taking place in this era of running shoe development.
This shoe retains its sleek and wavy aesthetic with the dual gel technology inserts in the rear foot to help create advanced cushioning and comfort underfoot. The design also includes a segmented midsole construction replicating a popular development feature that became popular amongst ASICS running shoe models between the mid-2000s and late 2010s.
The GT-2160 sneaker will debut with collaborations from DIME and Cecile Bahnsen today, Friday, the 7th of July, in white/pure silver, white/illusion blue, and white/shamrock green on the website and select stores for $220 NZD.
