To celebrate the launch of the KitKat Cookie Dough range, which is due to hit shelves later this month. KitKat has collaborated with popular Northshore bakery DOMO to create a dough-lectable croissant filled with KitKat Cookie Dough, proving everything is better with chocolate.

DOMO has become the first ever ‘Breakery’ and, in partnership with KitKat, will give away 500 specially crafted KitKat Cookie Dough croissants at the Takapuna location on the weekend of March 16th and 17th. Further promotional events have been scheduled at the bakery for the remainder of the month.

Nestlé Head of Marketing Fern Castellanos said that the new launch and its promotions have been highly requested by customers.

“It’s great to give Kiwis what they have been asking for. As the most requested KitKat Chunky flavour, KitKat Cookie Dough elevates any break, thanks to its indulgent filling, highlighted in DOMO’s special creation. Our collaboration with DOMO takes things to the next level, delivering texture and deliciousness – two thing this KitKat flavour boasts,” said Castellanos.

DOMO has become a local staple in the culinary industry, gaining a reputation for its range of baked goods. DOMO head baker, Langdon Wang, said he has enjoyed the partnership with Nestlé.

“Creating our signature croissants with KitKat was a delight. The fluffy pastry has been filled with a house-made cream using KitKat Cookie Dough, doused in decadent dark chocolate and sprinkled with the KitKat Chunky bar. We are so excited to partner with such an iconic brand and can’t wait for Kiwis to taste this special treat for their next break,” said Wang.

The new KitKat flavour features signature crisp wafer, combined with Cookie Dough filling covered in smooth milk chocolate.
