The Dairy Milk Boysenberry Ripple Chocolate bar is the latest brainchild from Cadbury New Zealand and the iconic kiwi ice cream brand Tip Top. A must-try for both chocolate and ice cream lovers alike. The bar reimagines one of New Zealand’s favourite ice cream flavours as a boysenberry flavoured jelly and vanilla flavoured creme inside a Cadbury Dairy Milk and Dream chocolate coating.
As a part of the design process, Cadbury set out in search of New Zealand’s top Boysenberry Ripple Expert to ensure the flavours were just right. Connoisseurs from around the country applied, but Auroara Dale from Wellington was crowned champion.
“I’m so stoked to have been chosen as New Zealand’s Boysenberry Ripple Expert! Getting to taste-test the block on behalf of New Zealand was a real honour and a treat, and I have to say, I had high expectations, but it was even tastier than I expected! My family weren’t surprised to hear I was selected – I can’t wait to share a block with them and hear their thoughts on it,” said Auroara Dale.
“We’re overjoyed that our Boysenberry Ripple Expert, Auroara, loves our new block as much as we had hoped. We knew this ice-cream loving nation would expect the best and we didn’t want to settle for anything less than that,” said WIll Papesch of Cadbury New Zealand.
