Following the successful launch of Enamoured Books in April, Auckland’s first-ever bookstore dedicated exclusively to romance literature, the store has introduced Enamoured Events.
Enamoured Books has quickly become a beloved destination for romance enthusiasts. It offers a curated selection of titles that celebrate love in all its forms.
Founder Ruby Wallace envisioned Enamoured Books as more than just a bookstore; it’s a haven where readers can immerse themselves in stories that resonate with their experiences and aspirations.
The store features thoughtfully designed spaces, including cosy reading nooks and an outdoor area, inviting patrons to relax and connect over shared literary passions.
Reflecting on the store’s opening, Ruby was absolutely blown away by the response to the launch.

Building on this foundation, Enamoured Events has aimed to foster a vibrant community through a series of engaging gatherings.
The first of the series, Pages of Passion, is a delightful blend of free and ticketed events dedicated to the most captivating romance titles. These gatherings are designed to honour the allure of love stories and the joy of reading, offering something special for every romance enthusiast.
Enamoured Books is also excited to launch a new weekly tradition, Quiet Nights. Starting on the 3rd of June, every Tuesday evening, readers can curl up on the couches to unwind and escape into their romance novels.
Enamoured Books has also partnered with Karen Murrell to offer an exclusive in-store promotion. Starting Monday, the 26th of May, customers will receive a complimentary Karen Murrell natural lipstick – True Love, Poppy Passion, Desire, or Seduction, with any book purchase made in-store.
