A beloved spicy sauce is making customers sweat even more than usual. Huy Fong Foods, one of the world’s largest producers of Sriracha sauce has had to suspend production due to a shortage of chilli peppers.
So make sure you stock up while you can because it looks like there won’t be many sauces from the California maker until the spices settle.
Huy Fong Foods has also had two postpone the production of two other popular sauces – Sambal Oelek and Chili Garlic.
The Chilli shortage comes from unexpected crop failure and drought conditions in parts of the United States and Mexico.
