DNA braids are the latest weird and wacky trend to take over Instagram. They’re made by first putting your hair in a half up, half down ponytail, then by separating your ponytail into three strands, just like you would a standard plait. From there take a little outer piece of the left strand and cross it over the left and under the middle strands to combine it with the right side. Do the same with a small piece of the right strand except weave it under the middle strand and over the left. Repeat from left to right until you reach the bottom of the ponytail. Tie the end with a hair tie and voila! You have your very own DNA braid.
