Mermaid hair is now more achievable than ever thanks to L’oreal’s new Colorista range! This new range was designed for millennials, inspired by millennials’ undying love for the pretty tresses that have taken over Instagram and Pinterest. The entire range was specifically designed to allow “colour lovers of any skill level to create beautiful ombré, pastel and bold colour looks effortlessly and effectively with a variety of shades, allowing you to colour it, wash it and do it all again.”

The Colorista range has 4 different formulas that allow you to fully customise your perfect colour as well as control how permanent or temporary you want your new hue to be.

If you can relate to Kylie Jenner and just can’t commit to one hair colour, try their new 1-Day Spray. This product promises to show up on all hair types (dark brunettes, rejoice!) and come off the next time you wash your hair. The L’Oréal Paris Colorista 1-Day Spray (RRP$15.99) is available in five colours.

The L’Oréal Paris Colorista Washout (RRP$17.99) comes in a Pastels range, designed specifically for blondes which lasts for two to three washes, and a Vivids range for brunettes, which lasts for up to 15 washes. This formula is designed to create bold colour yet be gentle on your hair. The pigments are intermixable, meaning you can mix and match until you fins your perfect shade.

They have also created a Colorista Effects (RRP$19.99) that is meant to be applied to hair to highlight any Colorista hue as a permanent colour.

Contrastingly, a Colorista Fader Shampoo (RRP$9.99) is also available if you want to speed up the colour fade out of the dye and return to your natural hair.

L’Oréal Paris Colorista is available from May 1 at all leading supermarkets, pharmacies and Farmers.
