Emma Lewisham Beauty was awarded Best Progress Towards Circularity at the UK’s Marie Claire Skin Awards. The Marie Claire Skin Awards are a significant global event that honours innovation and sustainable practices in beauty.
The Best Progress Towards Circularity award is given to a company that successfully operates outside the typical take-make-waste model. Emma Lewisham’s exceptional sustainability efforts warranted a personal endorsement from the notable ethologist and environmentalist Dr Jane Goodall.
Emma Lewisham Beauty was the world’s first verified carbon-positive beauty brand in September 2021. Certified under the Toitū Environcare’s Climate Positive Product Certification, Emma Lewisham products are circular-designed, recyclable, and refillable.
Founder, Emma Lewisham, explained how since the beginning, their brand has always been about finding better solutions for more sustainable skincare.
