Auckland’s iconic Karangahape Road will be filled next Thursday with drag queens, bands, poets, markets, and performance artists as it celebrates the return of First Thursdays.
The annual event, which first took place in 2009, is part of Elemental Auckland, the city’s new month-long festival in celebration of Matariki.
Celebrations will take place along K’ Road from 6-9 PM next Thursday, the 4th of July.
