frankstephenson Design Unveils First-Ever Eyewear Collection – The arena Eyewear range produced by Fluxus in Italy

frankstephenson Design, the globally renowned multidisciplinary design studio, has partnered with leading swimwear and lifestyle brand arena to reveal its first-ever eyewear collection.

This is a bold step into the world of lifestyle fashion and mass-market design. The collection will be manufactured in Italy by Fluxus Eyewear.

The arena Eyewear Collection is a true expression of biomimicry and form-driven storytelling. Conceptualised, sculpted, and designed in its entirety by frankstephenson Design, the collection draws inspiration from the fluidity of water and the movements of marine creatures like dolphins, sharks, and jellyfish.

The result has been sleek, powerful silhouettes that reflect both performance and elegance, all “sculpted by water.”

“Designing eyewear may seem a world apart from mobility or aviation, but the principles are the same, it’s about finding the perfect balance of form and function, beauty and purpose,” said Frank Stephenson, Founder and Creative Director, frankstephenson Design.

“With arena, we saw a unique opportunity to bring our design values to a global audience, through a product that people use every day. This collection is all about flow from nature, into design, into life.”

This debut eyewear line has embodied the studio’s ability to tell powerful visual stories through form. From initial sketches to materials specification and final detailing, the project was led end-to-end by frankstephenson Design, marking a new chapter in the studio’s expanding creative remit.

The collection is also a celebration of arena’s 50-year legacy in Italian design and performance. Manufactured in Italy by master artisans, each pair reflects timeless craftsmanship and a deep appreciation for quality, while embracing versatility for sport, athleisure, or simply soaking up the sun.

The sunglasses are infused with subtle visual cues from ocean storms, the ethereal glow of the Northern Lights, and the rhythm of flowing currents, creating a dynamic yet refined aesthetic. The unique silhouettes have been shaped not just to perform, but to evoke emotion, reinforcing the Arena ethos of finding your flow, wherever life takes you.
