After their November 2022 tour was rescheduled due to Covid-19, Guns N’ Roses will now play at Eden Park.
The US rock giants will now play at Sky Stadium, Wellington and Eden Park, Auckland, in early December 2022.
Axl, Slash and Duff said they couldn’t wait to see New Zealander next year.
The previously announced show in Dunedin was cancelled. Ticket holders will receive a full refund from Ticketmaster. An exclusive pre-sale for Dunedin ticket holders will run from 10 am October 1 to 10 pm October 3, so they have the opportunity to re-purchase.
Tickets for Auckland’s Eden Park show will go on sale on October 7.
All tickets purchased for Wellington’s Sky Stadium show remain valid for the new show in 2022.
Due to Covid’s resurgence, it was clear Guns N’ Roses could not tour in 2021, said tour promoter, Paul Dainty.
Eden Park CEO Nick Sautner was ‘thrilled’ Guns N’ Roses are ready to play and said it would provide escapism and economic benefit for Auckland. Sautner expected a massive response to the Auckland show.
