Park Hyatt Auckland is delighted to announce the return of its hugely popular Christmas offerings this year, with Christmas Afternoon Teas, lunch and dinner sittings on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and desserts from The Pantry that are sure to surprise and delight! What’s more, Park Hyatt has a variety of festivities across Waka rooftop, Onemata and Living Room to welcome in the new year in sophisticated style. Celebrate this festive season at Park Hyatt Auckland!


Christmas Afternoon Tea

$115 per person.

Seating’s will run from the 1st – 24th December, 12pm, Thursday through to Sunday, at 12:30pm, 2pm and 2:30pm.

Pastry Chef of the Year Callum Liddicoat is promising to surprise and delight guests with a playful five course Afternoon Tea journey this year, which embodies the joy and wonder that the festive season brings.

Incorporating nostalgic flavours with a modern flair, Chef Liddicoat has worked closely with Chef de Cuisine Andreas Pfyl to create a unique Christmas Afternoon Tea offering, which is sure to evoke childhood memories while you create cherished new ones. Expect savoury offerings of ham, turkey and chestnuts, before sweet courses of summer berries, tropical fruits and rich chocolate treats.

With the Park Hyatt Living Room set to be transformed into a stunning winter wonderland, a chilled glass of Billecart-Salmon Brut Champagne served upon seating, quaint Christmas crackers to mark the occasion and a take home gift from the Park Hyatt Pastry Team, the Christmas Afternoon Tea promises to spark the festive cheer to kick off the most wonderful time of year.


Christmas Dessert Range from The Pantry

Desserts will be available to order online here and pick up between the 20th November – 24th December.

The Christmas spirit doesn’t end there! The Pantry’s famous Christmas dessert and gingerbread range is also back for another year, with Chef Liddicoat transforming the Pantry kitchen into Santa’s workshop to whip up some of his most delightful creations yet!

Chef Liddicoat has taken inspiration from the classic winter Christmas scenes that we all know and love and has married them with his refined and sophisticated style. The result? A range of desserts that you’ll be tempted to order for yourself as you place your order for deliciously sweet gifts for family and friends.

The House That Ginger Built, the Gingerbread Wreath and the iconic mince pies are back by popular demand, along with new entremets cakes, a range of yule logs and a collection of spectacular petit gateaux, which have all been added to the offering this year. It truly is a Christmas range like no other.

Christmas Eve Dinner, Christmas Day Lunch and Dinner

$150 per person.

A 3 course menu, with seating’s available on the 24th December, between 5.30pm – 9.30pm.

Last but not least, Park Hyatt Auckland has the pleasure of inviting guests to spend their most cherished Christmas mealtimes in the Living Room or at Onemata.

With a gorgeous 3 or 4 course experience available, expect the flavours of the season to come alive on your plate as your share the meal with loved ones. To begin, snacks of truffle mascarpone gougere, Christmas ham doughnuts and Paua arancini will delight your taste buds.

The first course sees a choice of whiskey cured salmon, chicken liver pate or heirloom tomato caprese, before moving onto the second course where lamb rump, turkey or roasted eggplant take centre stage. With delicious sides of rocket, pear and parmesan salads, as well as truffle mash, the meal promises to be a Christmas feast like no other!

To finish your delicious journey Chef Liddicoat will be presenting a selection of his most festive desserts for you to enjoy.

Located right on the water’s edge in Wynyard Quarter, Onemata offers the perfect surroundings for this celebration, with incredible food, live music and one of the best views to watch the fireworks in Auckland.
