Converse has just added a new style to its Chuck Taylor family – The Construct.
This new silhouette is an evolution of the original Chuck Taylor, drawing on influences from Converse’s eighties archives for a fresh vintage aesthetic, including the addition of a re-imagined utility outsole.

For an amplified utilitarian look, the sneaker touts a new outsole complete with herringbone thread and decorative stitching.
Increasing the sneaker’s durability, Converse has added a rubber cage that encases the toes on both the medial and lateral sides of the shoe.

The Construct is complete with Eco-OrthoLite cushioning and a lightweight EVA midsole, designed for all day wear and comfort.
Of course, many of the Chuck Taylor’s signature elements remain intact, including the pinstripe, toe cap, rubber foxing tape at the forefoot, and the iconic All Star patch.

Launching on February 10, The Construct is available in Black, Roasted, Vintage White and Cyber Grey at converse.com.au
