After a tragic accident which saw Henny lose her best friend in a horrific drowning, she fled from the small town and vowed never to return to the site of her misery. Henny is finally forced to return to Lawson’s Bend to settle her mother’s estate. Upon her return, she discovers an old friend, Stephen, who is equally as scared from the tragic night that took so many lives. An old connection re-sparks as Henny and Stephen come together to overcome the grief they have both been running from.
