July will be a blast, with everything coming on AMC’s networks next month. Starting with AMC+ is Cooper’s Bar starring well-known actors like Rhea Seehorn from Better Call Saul, Louis Mustillo from Mike & Molly and Casey Washington from Hot in Cleveland. The second season of this series will also be premiering later this year.
The end of the month sees two big releases on the same day, both in the genre of crime; Dark Winds and The Heiress And The Heist.
Acorn TV sees the debut of two new shows; The Chronical Mysteries and Best Of Us. Also returning for its twelfth season is Vera. Again, all in the crime genre, dealing with murders, cops and disappearing persons.
Etheria Film Festival will celebrate its tenth annual horror festival anniversary by showcasing horror, science fiction and fantasy films directed by women all month long on Shudder. Sticking to the same theme is Quicksand starring Carolina Gaitan (Encanto) and Allan Hawco (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan), and the documentary film Sharksploitation which explores the weird, wild cinematic legacy of sharks on film and the world’s undying fascination.
