QT’s cocktail cupids will be pouring aphrodisiac antics aplenty, brewing up Love Potions, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic across QT’s signature bars; Rooftop at QT Auckland, Reds Bar at QT Queenstown and Hippopotamus at QT Wellington.
Sure to hit the spot, Love Potions are concocted using No Ugly Libido tonic which is made with scientifically formulated ingredients such as ashwagandha and maca root, nootropics ginseng and ginkgo biloba.
One exciting concoction from the Love Potion collection, ‘Strong Desire,’ was inspired by the classic cocktail the Clover Club. Think strawberry gin with a hint of hibiscus balanced with citrus and with a vegan foam (though can be replaced with egg white). The addition of No Ugly Libido adds bright flavours of cherry and an earthy undertone from the Ashwagandha.
Strong Desire
Ingredients:
45ml chaos gin hibiscus infused
30ml wild strawberry purée
20ml lemon juice
15ml sugar syrup
2 drops foamee
75ml No Ugly libido
Method:
Add ingredients to a shaker and shake until well combined, add ice and shake again. Strain into a highball glass over ice.
Garnish with Persian or regular candy floss on a stick.
