Cherish your Mum’s special day with a lavish culinary experience that she’ll have everlasting memories of, with an exquisite selection of tea time treats from the High Tea by Cordis with TWG experience, served on Saturday 13 May and Sunday 14 May 2023.
Presented on a beautiful three-tier stand with elegant TWG crockery, the handcrafted sweets, savouries and fresh scones will delight you with their rich, autumn flavours.
Savoury delights include cranberry, chicken and brie tarts with walnut chutney as well as hot smoked salmon on cauliflower rice salad. For those with sweet tooths, there’s a delectable apple caramel tatin, pear and vanilla éclair and chocolate and hazelnut tart.
Delicate sandwiches and freshly made scones served with artisan jams and clotted cream complete the experience, with the signature orange scone for autumn.
On this very special Mother’s Day weekend, the Saturday sitting includes a glass of sparkling wine and a chocolate treat. The Sunday session includes a welcome Champagne cocktail, flower, chocolate treat, customised letter and goodie bag for every Mum.
The High Tea sittings are 11:30 am, 12:00 pm or 3:30 pm and cost $99 per adult and $48 per child, 12 years and under, on Saturday 13 May. On Sunday 14 May, the price is $145 per adult and $68 per child, 12 years and under.
A fun photo booth that prints instant photos will be set up at the Sunday session. In addition to the sumptuous spread of culinary delights, Eight is also featuring a special ‘Mimosa Bar’ where adults can enjoy the classic combination of bubbly and orange juice, and get creative by mixing and making their very own mimosas. And the best part? The first mimosa is on your hosts at Eight restaurant.
