Moroccan Oil has had a significant impact at this year’s Met Gala by sponsoring the looks of many notable stars.
Model and actress Camilla Morrone, who recently starred in the hit Amazon mini-series Daisy Jones & The Six, wowed on the red carpet this year with a sleek and shiny hair look created by Cervando Maldonado.
“The inspiration for me was a take on a 1960s Jane Birkin style. Her look was very Karl Lagerfeld-esque with her hair fresh, young, clean and really beautiful,” said Cervando Maldonado.
“When styling, I started on damp hair using the Moroccanoil Perfect Defense to protect from all heat tools while also creating texture and beautiful shine,” he explained.
Another notable look was with actress Whitney Peak who was turning heads in a Chanel Hollywood glam hairstyle created by Naeema LaFond.
“We wanted to do some old Hollywood vibes, so we decided on these sleek but textured finger waves,” said Celebrity Hairstylist Naeemah LaFond.
“The Moroccanoil Hair Gel left her hair mailable enough to mould and show her natural wave pattern in between the sculpted wave. The Moroccanoil Perfect Defense helped protect her hair before blow drying to set the final look. These hero products really helped pull this look together.”
Inspired by the Mediterranean, the Moroccanoil brands come to life through iconic turquoise packaging and a significant exotic fragrance.
