The electrifying official trailer for The Power has been released by Prime Video, ahead of the shows premiere next month.
The streaming platform has lined up a stellar cast for the thriller series, including Toni Collette and Toheeb Jimoh, and is based on the 2016 award winning novel by Naomi Alderman.
The story follows a twist of nature when a group of teenage girls mysteriously and without warning adapt the power which allows them to electrocute people at their own free will. Follow the lives of a range of characters as they venture from trophy to tyrant, outcast to outlaw, loner to leader, and mayor to Mutineer.
The nine part series was filmed primarily in the United Kingdom, and is co-produced by production company SISTER (Chernobyl, Broadchurch,) and Amazon Studios.
