Whether you’re looking to discover a new wine or simply after a great day out with friends, Winetopia offers the best of New Zealand wine, all in one place.
It has brought together more than 50 premium wineries from around the country, offering visitors the chance to meet winemakers, sample hundreds of wines and enjoy a weekend dedicated to New Zealand’s vibrant wine culture.
Bringing the weekend to life, comic legend Ben Hurley will return to the Winetopia Main Stage, heading a special line-up of guests, live music and a host of food and wine experiences across all three sessions.
This year, a new series, The Future is Now, will showcase the skills and talent of six rising-star chefs from Auckland’s top restaurant kitchens. Each will design a dish to pair with a wine from one of the country’s most respected producers.
Visitors can also enjoy signature dishes from pop-up restaurants throughout the weekend, while discovering and purchasing artisan products from some of the country’s finest producers.
Premium Ticket holders will be welcomed with an arrival tasting of Allan Scott Cecilia Vintage Méthode Traditionnelle, paired with Mahurangi Oysters, before enjoying a curated series of special tastings, including an exclusive ‘Meet the Winemaker’ series, at no extra cost.
