Sophia Pierson may currently be best known as a model, Instagram personality, and one of the WAGS on E! Entertainment, but she’s also a budding beauty YouTuber to watch out for! Her makeup tutorials boast Kardashian-level contour game and red carpet worthy looks (she does her own makeup for events). Plus the fact that she uses accessible and cult-favourite products, there are many reasons why Sophia is destined to be your new go-to beauty guru.
We were able to have a quick chat with Sophia to get her to share more of her skincare and makeup secrets!
Sophia’s interest in beauty was clear ever since intermediate school, where she and her friends invested their pocket money in tubes of “Honey Kiss” lipgloss. She tells us that doing her lips is still her favourite part of her makeup routine as it really makes the look come together at the end. “Sometimes I wear no makeup, but still rock lipstick or lip liner”, she adds. She has, however, upgraded from cutesy glitter gloss to the best high-end lip products. Her current go-to is Tarte’s new matte lip paint in the shade Get It, as its a “perfect peachy summer nude for blonde hair”, while her all-time favourite is Laura Mericer’s lip liner in the shade Chestnut.
When asked about the top 5 beauty products she can’t live without, she tells us:
- Water (duh but seriously)
- A good hair/nail vitamin blend. I’ve been taking Protein World’s Collagen pills and it’s a total game changer!
- My Clarisonic
- Bronzer – Nars’ “Laguna”
- Lip liner – Laura Mercier “Chesnut”
A true makeup lover, she confesses, “I’ve walked out of Sephora over a thousand dollars deep. And I’m not ashamed of it, worth every penny!”
