Tanya Hennessy x Allen’s Host Orange Snakes Alive Taste Test

AUSTRALIA | What better place to host a taste test for an orange Snakes Alive than in Orange, NSW?

Allen’s has partnered with lolly enthusiast and Aussie comedian Tanya Hennessy to host the taste test in Orange. She has invited Aussies to try the new flavour.

“It’s no secret I’m a big Allen’s fan, but even I was surprised to find out the orange Snakes Alive is apricot flavoured. After tasting a new flavour, I can’t wait to see what my fellow lolly lovers think and hope they love it as much as I do.”

As it turns out, Tanya Hennessy wasn’t the only one to feel this way, with research showing 84 percent of Aussies didn’t know the orange snake was apricot-flavoured.

Echoing this sentiment, Allen’s fans took to social media to express their surprise.

“Our orange snake has been a hot topic amongst Allen’s fans for years. As it ranks as the least popular flavour, we’ve listened to our loyal fans and have been working hard to perfect the flavour for our passionate lolly lovers. We can’t wait to hear their feedback,” said Nestlé Head of Marketing Confectionery, Melanie Chen.

For those who can’t make it to Orange for the big taste test, 150 limited-edition Snakes Alive bags of the new flavour for the orange snake are up for grabs.

The event will be held at Robertson Park, Orange, NSW, on the 1st of March.
