The 2025 Pinterest Palette

Meet the 2025 Pinterest Palette

The colours of tomorrow, today.

Every year, Pinterest releases Pinterest Predicts, its annual report spotlighting 20 trends that it expects to be big in the year ahead. Turning those insights into a custom colour line-up inspired by Pinterest has set the tone and the hues for the year ahead.

“The Pinterest Palette is inspired entirely by Pinners—what they’re searching, saving and shopping for on our platform. But it’s made for creatives like you,” said Xanthe Wells, VP of Global Creative at Pinterest.

“Use the palette to inspire your mood boards, your shot lists, your merchandising assortments—even your product development ideas. We can’t wait to see how our colours inspire your marketing in 2025.”

The social platform used its data-backed trendspotting methodology and cutting-edge visual search technology to spot what will be significant in the year ahead in its annual Pinterest Predicts 2025 trend report. From there, it zeroed in on search terms sparking colourful conversations—think ‘cherry red fashion’ and ‘soft yellow aesthetics’.

Then, it mapped the emerging trends and colour clusters against first-party data. Looking at actions such as saves, Pinterest could see which colours were driving engagement over time.

From pickle-perfect greens to soft yellow daydreams, these five colours are designed to inspire everything from bold beauty looks to standout décor. Whether you’re reimagining your brand’s palette or refreshing your projects, these trend-driven hues are calling the shots this year.

Cherry Red
2025 just went full cherry mode. Inspired by the trend Cherry Coded, this bold hue is here to make a statement. Nail it, wear it, or deck your space in it. It’s the ultimate cherry on top.

Butter Yellow
A pinch of playful, a dollop of whimsy. Inspired by trends like Dolled Up, Fisherman Aesthetic and Surreal Soirees, this soft pastel yellow brings warmth to every corner.

Aura Indigo
Lilac, but with an edge. This moody tone pulls inspiration from trends like Sea Witchery and Aura Beauty. It’s perfect for cosmic-inspired beauty looks and otherworldly home and fashion designs.

Dill Green
Pickled perfection in a colour. Born from trends like Pickle Fix and Terra Futura, this tangy take on green is shaking up kitchens, wardrobes and cocktails that are too cool to sip.

Alpine Oat
Your new neutral. Channelling trends like Peak Travel and Moto Boho, this cosy-chic colour is all about layered textures—and that perfectly poured latte moment.

Let the Pinterest Palette inspire your menus, makeovers and mood boards this year.
