Live Nation, in association with Tātaki Auckland Unlimited on behalf of Auckland Council Events, has announced that the 2026 Winter Series will return for its second year.
Held at the Auckland Town Hall this May, the series features an outstanding lineup of international and homegrown talent, including Matt Corby, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, and Home Brew.
Australian singer-songwriter Matt Corby kicks off the series on Friday, the 29th of May, bringing his acclaimed Tragic Magic Tour to Auckland Town Hall. One of Australia’s most soulful and distinctive voices, Corby returns to New Zealand in support of his fourth studio album.
On Saturday, the 30th of May, pioneering Afrobeat artist Seun Kuti returns to New Zealand with his late father’s legendary band Egypt 80. The youngest son of Afrobeat icon Fela Kuti, Seun, carries forward his father’s musical and political legacy with a powerful, high-energy live show at Auckland Town Hall.
Rounding out the series, one of the country’s most beloved hip-hop acts, Home Brew, will take the stage on Sunday, the 31st of May, for a now sold-out show, performing their iconic EP Last Week live in full, alongside selections from across their catalogue. Renowned for their raw energy and uncompromising lyricism, Home Brew’s Winter Series show promises a special hometown moment.
