Art in the Park

Arts and Crafts don’t need to be confined to stuffy galleries or in your own home. Instead, creativity is being bought to the outside and into the city’s local parks.
Crafts and games for the whole family are available, and you can take home your beautiful creations and display them proudly. Locations for this charming event include the Howick Domain, Allenby Park and Central Park Papakura.
Music in the Park
12th Jan – 20th April
Auckland is hosting a variety of music events for four whole months over summer. From local talent to some of New Zealand’s top artists, these events will have you dancing your summer days away.
Each event presents a unique flavour of music including Jazz, Opera, Hip Hop and Kids. In total there are 25 gigs in parks across the city in Manurewa, Point Chevalier, Auckland Domain and many more stunning locations.
Park Yoga
14th Jan – 04th March
Weekly yoga sessions are being held in the beautiful Crawford reserve in Howick, bringing fun and fitness into the heart of east Auckland.
Available for all ages and abilities, visitors need only bring a mat and a water bottle and get ready to sweat it out! Kiwi Yoga are providing a specialist trainer who can help any newbie improve their skills or give yoga experts a chance to flex their stuff.
