Farrah’s New Pizza Bases

Farrah’s has released new pizza bases and is encouraging everyone to have a go at home. To celebrate, here are a few recipes to try out.

Farrah’s BBQ Meatlovers Pizza

Makes 1 Pizza

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Farrah’s Original or Keto Pizza Base
  • Tomato Pizza Sauce
  • ¾ Cup Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 10-15 slices Pepperoni or Salami
  • Ham, sliced 
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Red onion, thinly sliced
  • Capsicum, thinly sliced
  • Mushrooms, sliced
  • BBQ Sauce
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Olive oil 
  • Salt and pepper

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 200-220°C.
  2. Place the pizza base on a lined baking tray and cover it with a thin layer of tomato sauce. 
  3. Top pizza base with pepperoni, ham, vegetables, and mozzarella.
  4. Add a drizzle of BBQ sauce and add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Bake for 8-12 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden. 
  6. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice, and enjoy.

Farrah’s Ultimate Veggie Pizza

Makes 1 Pizza

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Farrah’s Original or Keto Pizza Base
  • Tomato Pizza Sauce
  • ¾ Cup Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • Mushrooms, sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Red onion, thinly sliced
  • Capsicum, thinly sliced
  • Feta crumbled
  • Pesto
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 200-220°C.
  2. Place the pizza base on a lined baking tray and cover it with a thin layer of tomato sauce. 
  3. Top pizza base with vegetables, mozzarella, and a sprinkle of crumbled feta. 
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste. 
  5. Bake for 8-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden. 
  6. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice, and enjoy.

Farrah’s Ultimate Vegan Pizza

Makes 1 Pizza

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Farrah’s Original or Keto Pizza Base
  • Tomato Pizza Sauce
  • ¾ Cup Dairy-free mozzarella, grated
  • Mushrooms, sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Red onion, thinly sliced
  • Capsicum, thinly sliced
  • Dairy-free pesto
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper 

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 200-220°C. 
  2. Place the pizza base on a baking tray and cover it with a layer of tomato sauce. 
  3. Top pizza base with dairy-free mozzarella and vegetables. 
  4. Sprinkle a little more mozzarella over the top and a drizzle of pesto and some fresh basil leaves. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Bake for 8-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and melted. 
  6. Remove from oven, slice, and enjoy.

Farrah’s Margherita Pizza

Makes 1 Pizza

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Farrah’s Original or Keto Pizza Base
  • Tomato Pizza Sauce
  • ½ Cup Fresh Buffalo Mozzarella (water drained)
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper 

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 200-220°C. 
  2. Place the pizza base on a baking tray and cover with a layer of tomato pizza sauce. 
  3. Top pizza base with 5-6 chunks of buffalo mozzarella, lightly drizzle with olive oil, then add salt, pepper, and dried mixed herbs to taste.
  4. Bake for 8-12 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and melted.
  5. Remove from oven, slice, and enjoy.

Pepperoni Pizza

Makes 1 Pizza

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Farrah’s Original or Keto Pizza Base
  • Tomato Pizza Sauce
  • 3/4 Cup Mozzarella, grated
  • Pepperoni, thinly sliced
  • ½ tsp Dried mixed herbs
  • Salt and pepper 

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 200-220°C. 
  2. Place the pizza base on a baking tray and cover with a layer of tomato pizza sauce. 
  3. Top pizza base with mozzarella and pepperoni. Add dried herbs, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Bake for 8-12 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and melted. 
  5. Remove from oven, slice, and enjoy.

Apricot Chicken Pizza

Makes 1 Pizza

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Farrah’s Original or Keto Pizza Base
  • Tomato Pizza Sauce
  • Roast Chicken, shredded
  • ¾ Cup Mozzarella cheese, grated 
  • Spring onion, thinly sliced
  • Cream cheese
  • Apricot sauce 
  • Rosemary
  • Pine nuts

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 200-220°C.
  2. Place the pizza base on a lined baking tray and cover it with a thin layer of tomato sauce. 
  3. Top pizza base with roast chicken, spring onion, and mozzarella. Evenly dot 1cm chunks of cream cheese over the pizza. 
  4. Bake for 8-12 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden. 
  5. Remove from oven, add a swirl of apricot sauce, and garnish with fresh rosemary and pine nuts.
  6. Remove from oven, slice, and enjoy.

 

Tip: For best results, use a pizza stone.
