The Crown’s Elizabeth Debicki stole our hearts and all the awards at this year’s Critics Choice Awards for her role as the iconic Princess Diana.
Chantecaille, in partnership with MUA Georgie Eisdell, has revealed their secrets to help us steal her glamorous look from the red carpet to recreate an old Hollywood beauty moment.
“I wanted to lean into the edginess of the jumpsuit and keep the look simple, lashy and cool. I wanted her skin matte and her lips light”, said Eisdell.
Beautifully hydrated skin is vital for makeup to last and look fresh, and the Bio Lifting Serum+ helps to smooth, lift and firm the skin along with the Bio Lifting Cream+ for deep hydration.
The Bio Lifting Eye Cream was also applied to reduce puffiness and smooth fine lines.
In terms of makeup, Future Skin in Porcelain with balanced undertones was used only on the t-zone and blended into the hairline.
A little Sheer Bronze Face Tint to shape the face and Cheek Gelée in Lively, a fresh peach shade, was blended on the apple of the cheek for a pop of colour.
HD Perfecting Powder was gently brushed to set the base and take the edge off shine where needed.
The eyes were the focus of the look, and a black eye kajal was smudged with the Le Stylo Ultra Slim along the upper lash line for more definition and depth, layered with the HD Perfecting Powder to even it all out.
The Waterproof Brow Definer in Ash Blonde and Full Brow Perfecting Gel in Clear were used for full brows that frame the face.
A thin layer of Faux Cils Longest Lash in Black completed the eye look by pushing the mascara wand right into the lash line and wiggling it to the lash’s tip to coat the lash thoroughly.
Debicki’s lips were hydrated with Lip Potion before applying Lip Chic in Patience, the perfect nude rose, and lining the lips with Lip Definer in Nuance is a sheer pinky beige.
