Travel has helped shape Diptyque since its inception in 1961 when Christiane Montadre-Gautrot, Yves Coueslant and Desmond Knox-Leet, three artistically-minded friends, founded the Maison.
Embodying its love and commitment to artisans and their expertise, Diptyque’s limited edition collection this year takes inspiration from Do Son and Vietnam, which have a special place in the heart of Diptyque.
Composed by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin, Do Son is a narrative journey immersed in the intoxicating tuberose, jasmine, orange and the sea breeze.
Made in collaboration with Hanoi-based Vietnamese craft company Hanoia, a woven rattan lid has been created especially for the medium-sized version of the Tubéreuse (Tuberose) candle.
The entire range (which includes the Do Son eau de toilette, Do Son Eau de parfum, Do Son shower Oil, Classic scented Tubéreuse (Tuberose) candle, and Medium scented Tubéreuse (Tuberose) candle and lid) has been decked out in distinctive red and presented in beautifully embossed boxes.
This new Do Son collection will be available only from the 15th of February at MECCA.
