At 22, Meg Morris, also known as Moo, finds herself nervously navigating yet another job interview. Then the audience is transported back to 2007, when she was just seven years old, and can witness her growth from childhood through her twenties.
Joy, curiosity, confusion, heartbreak, and hope shape Moo’s journey into adulthood. Emma studied Drama at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. After earning her degree, she gained experience in producing on Broadway. Now back in New Zealand, she is thrilled to debut My Name is Moo.
Co-director Isabelle Hoskyn is a film and theatre artist based in Auckland, originally from Washington, D.C. A graduate of the University of Auckland, she works across stage and screen as a producer, director, and lighting designer. She is dedicated to sharing complex, thoughtful narratives that investigate facets of the female experience.
