Get your wallets ready, Karen Walker has done it again! The notable NZ designer launched a capsule collection named Animal Magic in support of SPCA NZ.
Animal Magic features clothing and accessories for you, your pup and your home. Starring a custom-designed print in fresh and bold shades of black and blues, fifteen percent of the proceeds will be donated to the SPCA to fund its National Rescue Unit (NRU). The brand hopes to raise NZ$20,000 from November 6 to December 31, with retail stores offering collection buckets and a special edition gift wrap in exchange for a gold coin donation.
A long-time supporter of the charity, Karen Walker and her adorable Australian Labradoodle, Laika, are ambassadors for the Society.
“In the past year over 41,000 animals were rescued and cared for by the SPCA”, said the designer. “For Laika and me, knowing that we’re helping support their incredible work makes this collection an extra-special gift.”
The collection consists of spring and summer staples for both you and your furry companion including a rain poncho, a cap, a sunhat, a bandana, and a graphic print T-shirt – all adorned in the custom Animal Magic print. It also includes two styles of reusable bamboo coffee cups and bone china mugs with a signature print in gold outline.
The Karen Walker Animal Magic collection is available from November 6 in all Karen Walker stores, selected boutiques and department stores, and at karenwalker.com.
