It’s no secret that oysters and wine are our two favourite summer treats, so what better place to enjoy it than a region famous for the production of both. Happening at Matakana Country Park the festival is set to make a day of it with plenty of entertainment such as live music, cooking demos, and shucking competitions. Don’t worry; kids are also welcome with face painting and crafts to keep them busy.
Whether you’re an oyster lover or not, the day will provide an all-weather celebration of local food, wine, and delights.
