SOUL Bar and Bistro on Auckland’s viaduct harbour has dedicated the month of October to celebrating the Pornstar Martini. SOUL Bar and Bistro has created a bespoke menu, full of different variations of the popular cocktail.
Aside from the traditional versions, some varieties include raspberry and peach, and white chocolate and mango. The Passionstar Martini contains London Dry, Passionfruit, Pineapple, Lime, Egg white, and bubbles, and the Millionaire’s Pornstar includes Absolut Vodka, Passionfruit, Pineapple, Lime, Mumm Champagne, and caviar bump.
A new spritz-inspired pornstar martini contains Absolut vanilla vodka, Malibu Passionfruit, candied pineapple, “citrus”, and bubbles, offering a new and refreshing taste ahead of the summer season.
The array of cocktails by Soul Bar and Bistro is available all day, every day in the month of October.
Since its inception two decades ago, the Pornstar Martini has gone on to become one of the top ten most requested cocktails in the world, with its bold and delicious flavour. Invented in London in 2002, it is traditionally flavoured with passionfruit and vanilla, and mixed with sparkling wine such as prosecco or champagne. The drink was voted the most popular drink in the United Kingdom in 2018.
