Shark Beauty, the cult hair tool brand known for its viral products and sell-out successes, has launched its first Shark Beauty Salon experience in New Zealand.
Celebrating diverse, eclectic, and yet-to-be-celebrated hair, the pop-up salon will open its doors on Newmarket’s Broadway on Friday, the 27th of September, offering complimentary blowwaves and special product offers.
Building on Shark Beauty’s mission to democratise high-end hairstyling, the Shark Beauty Salon will provide free hair styling sessions during which customers will learn how to use Shark Beauty’s innovative styling tools best and uncover personalised tips from expert stylists to help them celebrate and embrace their hair.
Customers will have the chance to have their hair styled by some of the best in the business, led by Shark Beauty Ambassador and award-winning New Zealand stylist Sara Allsop of Dharma Salon.

Offering everything from voluminous, high-gloss blowouts to bouncy and defined curls, the Shark Beauty Salon has a product to meet every need across its suite of hair tools, including the Shark SmoothStyle, the Shark FlexStyle, and the Shark SpeedStyle. All of these will be available to trial and purchase on-site with exclusive product discounts.

Whether they are heading out for a night on the town or simply want to pamper themselves, customers can book a 30-minute session to experience Shark Beauty’s hair styling tools firsthand. Limited walk-in appointments will also be available.
For customers looking for an after-work pick-me-up, the salon will open for late-night appointments on Thursday and Friday evenings, complete with sets from resident DJ. Complimentary makeup touch-ups for customers with Friday and Saturday afternoon appointments will also be offered.
The Shark Beauty Salon will be open from Friday, the 27th of September, until Sunday, the 20th of October, at 242 Broadway, Newmarket, Auckland.
